International Adolescent Life Skills Summit

Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4, Gurugram

Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4, Gurugram participated in the International Adolescent Life Skills Summit, held on 17th and 18th December 2025. The summit was part of a larger national and international initiative focusing on Life Skills, Resilience, Positive Mental Health, and Well-being, bringing together adolescents, educators, counsellors, and experts from across the country.

The summit aimed to empower young people by enhancing emotional literacy, leadership abilities, decision-making skills, and awareness around mental health, digital citizenship, and social responsibility. Around 150 schools from across India participated in this two-day event, making it a vibrant platform for peer learning and youth engagement.

Student Participation

The following students from Blue Bells Model School, actively participated in various events across both days of the summit:

  • Oration:
Arya Ojha – Class XI C
She presented her views as a Young Orator for Wellbeing and was also selected as a participant in the Youth Parliament (Yuva Sansad), where students deliberated on adolescent and youth-centric issues.
  • Dance (Manonritya – Indian Classical Dance):
    Mahi – Class VIII A
She delivered an expressive performance highlighting emotional strength, resilience, and inner wellbeing. Her song, “O Ri Chidiya’ is the voice of a free soul trapped in fear and silence. Through this dance, she tried to express the emotions of countless young hearts, their pain, their courage, and their hope to fly freely again. This performance is a reminder that every child deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to dream.
  • Painting (Utopia – Thematic Painting & Poster Making):
Anshuman Ojha  – Class IX D
His artwork reflected adolescent perspectives on mental health, safe spaces, and positive coping.
  • Nukkad Natak (Pathshala Nukkad Ki):
Performed by Arya Ojha (XI C), Anshuman Ojha (IX D), Tenesi (VIII D) and Mahi (VIII A). This street play focuses on inclusive education and equal opportunities for every child. It showcases the struggles of a visually challenged girl who confronts social stigma, teasing, and self-doubt. Through her father’s unwavering encouragement, she learns to cope, believe in herself, and move forward with confidence, emphasizing that inclusion begins with understanding, empathy, and support. The play conveys that inclusive education is not charity, it is a right, and family and social support can turn challenges into strength.
