Student Council
The school's Student Council develops leadership, discipline, responsibility and teamwork among students.
Responsibilities of the Student Council
- To participate enthusiastically in maintaining discipline in school.
- To organize educational and recreational activities for students.
- To participate in developing school projects such as Savera, Cleanliness Drives, Social Awareness Drives.
- To promote school projects among students.
- To propose meaningful activities to improve the quality of life in the school.
School Ambassador
- Represents all students officially in the school.
- Leads and motivates the student council.
- Identifies and helps resolve student-related issues.
- Communicates student opinions to the school administration.
- Encourages student participation in school activities.
Head Boy / Head Girl
- Acts as the official spokesperson for the council.
- Leads and motivates the student council.
- Calls meetings once every 15 days and prepares the agenda.
- Supervises the duties of council members.
- Represents students on official occasions.
Cultural Secretary
- Advertises upcoming events and activities.
- Collects event-related suggestions from students.
- Suggests creative ideas to the Cultural Department.
- Keeps a written record of cultural events.
Event Manager
- Assists in arranging and planning events and functions.
- Helps in organizing recreational activities such as sports events, concerts, farewells.
- Writes reports for school events.
Literary Secretary
- Contributes to the school magazine and newsletter.
- Ensures reports are posted on the website.
- Collects articles for the school magazine.
- Performs tasks assigned by the Chief Editor.
Design Wizard
- Promotes Fashion Studies as a career option.
- Plans the "Ingenuity" Design Exhibition.
- Works on tasks related to the Fashion Studies department.
Computer Wizard
- Plans Cybermania / Cybermaze computer events.
- Works with the Computer Science department.
- Ensures posting of reports on the school website.
Science Wizard
- Participates in science-related activities.
- Promotes scientific awareness among students.
- Organises science quizzes and activities.
Health & Wellness Ambassador (XII) / Peer Mentor (XI)
- Represents the Health & Wellness Department.
- Promotes awareness on health and wellness.
- Assists teachers and counsellors during events.
- Arranges student talks for assemblies.
Peer Educators
- Mentor fellow students.
- Guide peers on emotional and personal development.
- Share learning from Peer Educator workshops.
Sports Captain
- Represents Sports Department.
- Promotes sportsmanship among students.
- Suggests ways to improve sports performance.
- Organises Sports Day and sports activities.
Fine Arts Secretary
- Represents Fine Arts Department.
- Promotes appreciation for Fine Arts.
- Organises Fine Arts activities and competitions.
House Captains / Vice-Captains
- Assign duties to House Prefects.
- Ensure Prefects' presence during school events.
Marshalls
- Maintain discipline in class and corridors.
- Communicate council activities to their class.
- Take care of class bulletin boards.
- Ensure class moves in a single line.
Prefects
- Act as the roots of the council.
- Maintain communication between students and the council.
- Perform discipline duties assigned by Captains.
- Report defaulters to House Captain or Incharge.
- Share student ideas with the council.
- Inform students about upcoming events.
- Collect feedback from students.
