“Setting goals is the first step in
turning the invisible into the visible.”
— Tony Robbins
To guide students at a crucial academic stage, the
Health & Wellness Programme, under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, conducted
a Goal Setting Session for Grades X and XII at Blue Bells Model School on April
6 & 7, 2026.
The session highlighted the importance of planning
and introduced effective ways and steps of goal setting, helping
students differentiate between short-term objectives and long-term aspirations.
Students were familiarized with the concept of SMART
Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to bring
clarity and structure to their goals. Through an engaging activity, each
student created an action plan, identified possible barriers, and
explored solutions.
The session also emphasized time management and
strategies to enhance productivity, along with the role of reflection
in aligning goals with personal strengths and values.
The session saw active participation and meaningful
discussions, concluding on a positive note with students feeling more focused,
self-aware, and confident in planning and achieving their goals.
