“Success is not just about talent, but about the mindset with which
we approach challenges.” – Carol Dweck
Under the aegis of the Health & Wellness
Programme, a session on “Growth Mindset” was conducted on April
20,2026 in Blue Bells Model School by Ms Chetna, Senior Associate Psychologist at My Peegu
on
the topic “The Mindset that Leads to Success.” The session aimed to help
students of grade IX and XI to understand how their thoughts and beliefs
influence their learning and success.
Students explored the meaning of mindset in
today’s dynamic world and learned that success depends not only on actions and
results, but also on one’s belief system, attitude, and perseverance. The
concept of moving from the Comfort Zone to the Growth Zone—through the
Fear and Learning Zones—was discussed, highlighting how stepping beyond comfort
leads to personal development.
A self-reflection activity encouraged students to
identify one fear and one area of improvement, promoting honest introspection.
The session also emphasised the importance of unseen efforts—the hard
work and dedication that often go unnoticed but are essential for success.
Overall, the session inspired students to adopt a
positive, growth-oriented mindset and embrace challenges as opportunities for
learning and improvement.
