Puberty Session for Middle School Boys: Growing Up with Awareness, Confidence, and Care
At, Blue Bells Model School, education is envisioned as a
meaningful journey that equips students with the right knowledge and
understanding for their personal growth and overall well-being. Rooted in this
philosophy, the school’s Health & Wellness Programme strives to nurture not
only informed minds but also emotionally aware, confident, and resilient
individuals.
Taking this commitment forward, an insightful
session on Understanding Puberty was conducted for the boys of
Grades VI and VII on April 21, 2026. Under the guidance of
Dr. Alka Saxena, the session unfolded as a
meaningful blend of knowledge, sensitivity, and reassurance.
The session was thoughtfully facilitated by
the school doctor, Dr. Sanjay Bhatt who addressed the multifaceted changes of
adolescence-physical, emotional, social, and psychological with remarkable
clarity, warmth, and strong scientific grounding.
What
truly distinguished the experience was the safe and inclusive environment
he fostered, where
students felt encouraged to express their curiosity, ask questions freely, and
have their doubts addressed with patience, respect, and understanding.
From demystifying hormonal changes to emphasising
the importance of personal hygiene and emotional wellbeing, the session gently
empowered students to accept and embrace this transformative phase of life.
