150TH
BIRTH ANIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF MAHATMA GANDHI
Blue Bells Model School has dedicated this year on the single
nobler vision , “ BLUE BELLS FOR WORLD PEACE”. All the activities and events of
the school through out the year were
interwoven around this theme. In pursuance of this mission , the students attended the lecture series on ‘Peace and Non Violence’
to help them understand the necessity of
peace for the survival of human race.
The Lecture series was in
continuation
of the celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of the Father of
Nation. Gandhi Smriti Peace and Non Violence Lecture 1
was given by His eminence Professor Ven Samdhong Rinpoche, Eminent Buddhist scholar and Prof. (Dr)
Kesava Rao Vurrakula, Vice -Chancellor, NURSL,
Ranchi on December 8,2019 at Gandhi Smriti 5,Tees January Marg New Delhi-110011.
The students had an interactive
session with his eminence Professor Ven Samdhong Rinpoche, Chairman of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile for
over a decade and is currently the first directly elected Kalon Tripa (Prime
Minister) of the Tibetan Government-in-Exil. It was an enriching
experience for the school team.
