78th NCC Day Celebration

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram celebrated the 78th NCC Day with pride, passion, and patriotic fervour in collaboration with 5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram. The event was graced by Brigadier Hardeep Singh Burn, Commander, Group Headquarter NCC Rohtak, as the Chief Guest.

The celebration began on the school ground with the ceremonial welcome of the Chief Guest, followed by a dignified parade inspection. Eight platoons, comprising cadets from various schools and colleges, showcased immaculate discipline and synchronised drill movements during the March Past, earning appreciation from all present.

Cadets then assembled in a semi-circle for the solemn Oath Ceremony, led by the Parade Commander, reaffirming their commitment to service, discipline, and nation-building. An energetic performance by the NCC Band added vibrance to the morning proceedings.

After a brief transition, the programme continued in the JD Hall, beginning with a Green Welcome of the esteemed dignitaries. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, BBMS, followed by a reflective speech on the significance of NCC Day by Under Officer Arya Ojha.

The cultural segment included a melodious Group Song by NCC cadets, a soulful Band Solo by Cadet Avni, and a lively Group Dance, each highlighting the spirit of unity and youth leadership promoted by NCC.

The school honoured the Chief Guest and other dignitaries through a Felicitation Ceremony, followed by a Token of Reverence presented to ANOs, PI Staff, and CTOs. Brigadier Hardeep Singh Burn addressed the gathering with inspiring words, praising the cadets’ discipline and urging them to uphold the NCC motto—Unity and Discipline.

A symbolic Cake Cutting Ceremony marked the celebration, after which Chief Officer Jitendra Lakhera, NCC Officer, BBMS, delivered the Vote of Thanks. The programme concluded with the NCC Song, the National Anthem, and a Group Photograph with the Chief Guest. Cadets and dignitaries later enjoyed refreshments at the Basketball Court.

The event stood as a proud testament to the school's commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and service-oriented citizens.
