not just of games, but of life—through every sprint, fall, and rise on the
playground. In sync with the adage, Blue Bells Model School celebrated its
spectacular Annual Sports Meet ‘Athletasia 2025’
with great zeal, discipline, and sportsman spirit on 7th December 2025 at Tau
Devi Lal Sports Complex , Gurugram. The day unfolded with dignity and grandeur
as Mr. K.K. Khandelwal, Chief National Commissioner, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr Ram Meher Singh ,
Deputy Director , Haryana Sports Department, Mr
Rambir Singh and Mr Achint Jain , Former Sports Captain of School as Guest of Honours. Dr. Saroj Suman
Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, honoured the occasion with her
gracious and inspiring presence. Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, Blue Bells Model
School, extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to all dignitaries, parents, and
participants. In her address, she expressed immense pride in hosting an event
that celebrates the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and excellence.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Sports
Flag by the Chief Guest, marking the official beginning of the
day’s festivities. This was followed by a magnificent march past by ten platoons
comprising NCC Cadets, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbul, various Houses, and
the School Band displaying impeccable synchronization and discipline. The
atmosphere reverberated with pride as the Sports Captain of the school administered the
oath, pledging fair play and true sportsmanship. The school band
set a rhythmic tone with a spirited performance, after which the excitement
intensified with the torch relay, carried by state- and national-level
achievers alongside the dedicated BBMS Physical Education Team. The Chief Guest
then declared
the Sports Meet open,
symbolizing the school’s commitment to holistic development.
The cultural programme commenced
with a soulful rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa which added a spiritual
aura to the event. This was followed by a vibrant extravaganza featuring spirited Bihu and Kashmiri
dance, graceful Classical and Kolattam performances, energetic Lavani, and a
dynamic presentation on Viksit Bharat,
showcasing India’s rich cultural tapestry. The field then came alive with a
series of mass
demonstrations—rhythmic yoga, aerobics, a coordinated mass
drill, and a striking pyramid formation. These were followed by thrilling track events
for students, parents, NGO participants, and children with special needs,
reflecting the school’s ethos of inclusion and equal opportunity.
The Prize Distribution
Ceremony celebrated the champions of the day and outstanding
achievers of the year in games and sports, with trophies and medals awarded by
the Chief Guest and Director of the school. The much-awaited announcement of
the Champion House and Runner-up House filled the air with jubilation and
applause, as Champions Trophy. Mother

House clinched the Runner-up position. The
celebration echoed the hard work, discipline, and unyielding spirit displayed
by the students throughout the event. The ceremony concluded on a note of pride
and fulfilment, reaffirming that Athletasia 2025 was not merely an event, but a celebration
of determination, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the Blue Bells family.
