Blue Bells International Model United Nations (BBIMUN) 2025

In a world racing towards progress, the true measure of development lies not in towering skylines or rising GDPs, but in the strength of the communities that uphold its foundation. With this vision, Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram hosted Chapter X of BBIMUN 2025 from October 8th to 12th, 2025, celebrating the theme “Promoting Economic Empowerment of Indigenous Communities Through Inclusive Development.” The event sought to amplify the voices of indigenous peoples — the guardians of wisdom, resilience, and harmony with nature — who are integral to a sustainable global future.

The conference witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 1300 delegates from schools across Gurugram, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Pathania, Kaithal, Rajasthan (Sikar), Panipat, Kashmir, Ahmedabad, Faridabad and Yamuna Nagar, creating a dynamic platform for debate, diplomacy, and dialogue.

International online session held on October 8th and 9th, 2025 brought together the 71 international delegates from the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, the Philippines, Macedonia, Bangladesh, Singapore, and Australia, reinforcing BBIMUN’s commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable global partnerships. The Guest of Honour for the virtual opening ceremony was Dr. Dary Dacanay, Director, St. Patrick’s School, Quezon City, Philippines, accompanied by Ms. Bhavisha Buddhadeo, both of whom applauded the initiative for empowering youth voices in global policymaking.

The Opening Ceremony on October 11th, 2025, was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, BBGS, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire global-minded learning. The Guests of Honour included Major Mohammad Ali Shah (TEDx Motivational Speaker), Shri Roop Chand Ji, and Ms. Anna Chandy, while Mr. Hitesh Bakshi served as the Chief Advisor for BBIMUN 2025. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a soulful rendition of Bandish and Tarana.  Ms. Alka Singh, Principal, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and delegates, encouraging participants to engage in meaningful and solution-oriented discussions. Conference Directors , Deeksha Rana, Sarisha Goel, Eati Shri Sharma and Avlokita Srivastava , emphasized that BBIMUN 2025 would serve as a deeply enriching learning experience.

The Closing Ceremony on October 12th, 2025, was presided over by Major General Anil Sengar as the Chief Guest, along with distinguished dignitaries Dr. Gaurav Kapoor, Mr. Ashish Gulati (Vice Chairman, BBGS), Shri Giri Raj Ji, Mr. Divik Jain, Ms. Tricha Vatsa, and Mr. Hitesh Bakshi.
The occasion was further graced by Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, whose presence added immense inspiration to the event. Major General Anil Sengar delivered a compelling address highlighting the urgent need for collaborative efforts and inclusive partnerships across borders, ensuring that no community—especially indigenous and marginalized groups—is left behind in the global pursuit of progress. His message resonated deeply with the theme, underlining that sustainable development must be rooted in equity, empowerment, and shared responsibility.

The Executive Board, comprising seasoned MUNers, played a pivotal role in guiding the young delegates towards productive debates and meaningful resolutions. Ms. Alka Singh (Charge d’Affaires) and Ms. Manisha Singh (MUN Coordinator), shared their reflections on the journey, while Mr. Yogesh Sharma (Chef de Cabinet) expressed heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors and supporters.

A captivating group dance performance enthralled the audience, symbolizing Economic Empowerment of Indigenous Communities . The ceremony culminated in a vibrant multimedia montage curated by Shrey Ahuja , Atishay Jain and Kshitij of  Class XI, beautifully capturing the spirit of debate, collaboration, and diplomacy that defined BBIMUN 2025.

The participation of three government schools from Gurugram underscored the institution’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities, spreading the message of collaboration and companionship beyond boundaries. The conference concluded with the announcement of results and felicitation of achievers by the Director and esteemed guests.
The Outstanding School Delegation Award was won by DPS, Sector 45, while DPS Sushant Lok, earned the Best School Delegation Award.

BBIMUN 2025 stood as a poignant reminder of our interconnectedness and shared humanity, reaffirming the belief that collective strength, inclusivity, and compassion will guide us through every challenge that lies ahead, paving the way for a future built on equity, empathy, and enduring global unity.
