An engaging and enlightening Astronomy Club
Orientation Session was conducted on April 4, 2025, for students of Classes III
to V in JD Hall led by a resource person from Navars Edutech. The session aimed
to spark curiosity, expand young minds, and introduce students to the wonders
of the cosmos.
The session commenced with an interactive
Q&A, stimulating curiosity and assessing students' knowledge about space.
This was followed by an insightful discussion on the significance of astronomy
in daily life. The resource person unveiled an exciting lineup of activities,
including Be an Astronaut for a Day, Space Champ, and Junior Galileo, designed
to foster hands-on learning and scientific exploration.
A moment of immense pride for the school
was the recognition of students who excelled in astronomy, as they were awarded
gold medals in the NASO Olympiad. Their outstanding achievement highlights
their dedication and passion for space science.
The session ignited a sense of wonder, with
many students expressing a keen interest in delving deeper into astronomy.
Their enthusiastic participation reflected their eagerness to explore the
universe beyond our blue planet. Overall, it was an inspiring and enriching
