MODEL SCHOOL CELEBRATED RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS TO COMMEMORATE THE BIRTH
ANNIVERSARY OF SARDAR VALLABH BHAI PATEL
India is a secular country with diversified cultures and the
significances in their own kind. As an endeavour to solidify the bond of
oneness and unification, the country celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar
Vallabhai Patel on October 31, 2019 as Rashtriya
Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). In line with the celebrations countrywide,
Blue Bells Model School following
the CBSE mandate organized various activities in the school premises in order
to extend their heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of
the great leader, Sardar Patel, in the veritable contribution during the
freedom struggle and to lay a foundation of a unified country fused with
oneness. The idea was to inculcate in the young future generation the values integrated with the knowledge and
adoration about the country’s rich heritage.
A throng of activities were organized all through the day to support
the cause of promoting unity and celebrating “National Unity Day” in the school premises. Activities involved collaborative effort to
convey the message of importance of unity in sustaining any work. The occasion
provided with an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience
of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats .
The Programme commenced
with a pledge that was administered by of
the school which was an affirmation of the commitment taken by the young
Indians to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation. The major
focus was on ‘RUN FOR UNITY’ , race
to spread awareness among the students on role of Sardar Patel in unifying the
country as he was the statesman of integrity with practical acumen and resolved
to accomplish a monumental task of keeping 562 princely states united to give a
definite shape to future India. The students were involved in various
activities like March Past , Run For
Unity , Essay & Debate. The event conveyed the message of Unity,
Safety and Security to all and the students carried across the unifying
message to act as Unity, Safety, and Security Ambassadors.
