BBMS Empowers Young Solar Ambassadors through Hands-On
Workshop
Blue Bells Model School successfully conducted the Solar
Ambassador Workshop on 9th April 2025, in collaboration with the Energy Swaraj
Foundation. This enriching initiative aimed to foster awareness and action
towards sustainable energy among students and educators.
The workshop was led by Mr. Sachin, a distinguished resource
person from the Energy Swaraj Foundation, and witnessed enthusiastic
participation from 92 students and 10 teachers. Under the guidance of Ms. Alka
Singh, Ms. Anshu Mallika, and SDG Coordinator Ms. Manisha Singh, each
participant was provided with a solar kit to assemble a functional solar lamp.
This hands-on activity not only imparted technical know-how but also instilled
a strong sense of responsibility towards clean and renewable energy.
Upon successful completion of the assembly, all participants
were formally recognized as Solar Ambassadors, symbolizing their commitment to
promoting sustainable energy solutions.
The event was further elevated by the presence of the
FairGaze SDG team, who lent their support to the shared mission of advancing
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This inspiring and impactful workshop served as a meaningful
step toward nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious innovators
dedicated to sustainable development and climate action.
