Special Assembly on Friendship Day
“Truly great friends are hard to find,
difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”
A
true friend is a blessing; indeed, whether it is to share a laugh or to wipe a
tear, the presence of an understanding confident friend can make the world a
better place. To celebrate Friendship Day, the students of Class III B
conducted a heartwarming assembly on August 7, 2025.
The
students initiated the assembly with a solemn prayer, followed by a pledge, the
school song, and the sharing of the current events through the National and
International News. To enlighten and brighten the morning, a beautiful thought
on “Friendship” was shared by a student highlighting the theme of the day.
Students
then explained the significance of celebrating friendship by narrating the
touching story of Krishna and Sudama, reminding the audience that true
friendship sees no barriers of wealth or status. A heartfelt poem on friendship
was recited, which received a warm round of applause.
A
lively Friendship Fashion Parade added charm to the celebration, where
students confidently walked on the ramp hand-in-hand in coordinated outfits
symbolizing unity and togetherness. Each pair represented a unique value of
friendship—trust, loyalty, kindness, and joy—making the parade both meaningful
and fun.
The program continued with an energetic dance performance to a melodious song, emphasizing the true spirit of friendship. The assembly concluded with inspirational words by the Primary Wing Leader, Ms. Kiran Rawat, who appreciated the efforts of the students’ and encouraged everyone to nurture the bonds of friendship in their lives.
