SUBJECT ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP FOR THE STUDENTS OF COMMERCE
A Subject Enrichment Workshop in Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy was organized by Blue Bells Model School for the students of Commerce stream on November 21, 2019. The eminent Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Subhash Dey, a living legend and renowned author of 22 subjects in varied fields of study.
Discussion started with the CBSE sample papers of Economics and Accountancy. Sir also threw light on expected questions for 2019-20 Board examination. Each concept was taken in detail and various aspects regarding the same were discussed. He suggested Time Plan while taking exams based on the weightage of marks. He advised the students to remain away from distractions created by mobile phones, cinemas and social media.
He insisted on self-study by the students and making notes having key words and time lines. He also discussed the multiple ways of asking the same question in board examination. He advised the students to make an achievable but strict time table for achieving better score. Taking good care of health by taking healthy and nutritious food was also stressed by him.
Important notes, question bank of the three subjects and their solutions, objective type questions were shared. It was a very interesting and interactive session which was closed by the query handling session. Apart from subject knowledge, the main take away for the participants were humanity, selfless service, love for each child and making the subject interesting.
