World Disability
Day was celebrated in Blue Bells Model School, Sec-4, Gurugram to sensitize
students about people who are differently abled. A workshop on Sensitization and
awareness on Disability & Human Rights was conducted by the Khusboo Welfare
Society, Center
for Persons with Multiple Disabilities in the school December
2, 2019. On the same day, a Painting
Competition was organized for the students wherein they heartily participated
and showcased their deep understanding of the concept.
The result of the
competition was declared on December 10, 2019. Anirudh Goswami of Class VI D
bagged Third Position in the Inter School Painting Competition 2019. Harshita,
Suhani, Anvesha of class VIII and Riddhima Tiwari, Himanshi of Class VI
received Consolation Prizes,
The
participation in the competition made the students more aware and
empathetic towards differently-abled people.
