COUPLED WITH TEAM BUILDING : A TRIP TO SURSINGHDHAR

To
create awareness among the students about the pristine beauty of Nature and to
arouse in them the spirit of enquiry and adventure, a three-day long adventure camp
was organized to Sursinghdhar, a picturesque place in the lap of Nature, on the
foothills of the Himalayan Range from December 1 to December 3, 2019. Thirty
five students accompanied by three teachers embarked on this exciting
excursion. The journey to Haridwar and
further to Sursinghdhar left an
indelible imprint in the heart of the members to be cherished forever . The
scenic and picturesque beauty of the place captivated the tour members enroute
on this remarkable sojourn.
The
students were actively involved in myriad fascinating activities like
Rappelling, Tree Zumari , Zip
lining/ flying fox and Mountain Climbing. They felt exhilarated by
participating in various team-building activities in the evening involving a
unique blending of both physical courage and mental stamina. The exceptional
beauty , the refreshing and virgin appeal
of the place registered a venerable place in the memories of all . Finally the
tour members returned to school at around midnight, rejuvenated and
re-vitalized, at the end of an invigorating and memorable experience.
